Departure Day (D-Day) Minus 5 and 6
A bit behind on the “daily” blog as we have been frantic the past 7 days getting everything prepared for the trip. I will post all my catchup this morning.
Monday and Tuesday, a trip to Wendy's Mom's in Peru for a visit, some hiking and to drop off Gertie at a friend of her Mother’s. We did a nice hike along the tow-path at the river on Monday evening and another hike at Starved Rock on Tuesday.
The plan was to pick up the RV on the way back from there on Tuesday evening, but my friend who is lending it to us had to fly out of town. We will have to make another trip to St. Charles on Wednesday evening.
